Zalgiris Kaunas announced the addition of guard Tomas Dimsa. The Lithuanian player returns to the team in which he made his first professional steps from 2013 to 2015.
Dimsa, 26, played for Lietkabelis in 2019-2020. He averaged 13.2 points, 3.1 assists in the Basketball Champions League plus 14.1 points and 3.6 assists in the Basketball Champions League.
The acquisition of Dimsa is the second new signing of Zalgiris this offseason after American guard Steve Vasturia. Coach Sarunas Jasikevicius has said that his goal is to keep as many players as possible from the previous season’s roster.
