Olympiacos has made remarkable progress in talks with Aaron Harrison and is currently definitely the frontrunner to ink him to a two-year contract, according to Eurohoops sources.

The former Kentucky standout is a free agent following the conclusion of his solid run with Turkish outlet, Galatasaray Doga Sigorta. He is already targeted by multiple Turkish Airlines EuroLeague clubs, including Olympiacos, as previously reported.

The 25-year-old American guard has not yet decided regarding his future. If CSKA Moscow opts to not make a move despite seriously considering his addition, then Olympiacos is expected to mark his second European stint and first in EuroLeague. Final news on his status are expected within the week.

Harrison appeared in 16 EuroCup games prior to the premature ending of the 2019-20 season due to the coronavirus pandemic putting up 15.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.1 steals per contest. He also averaged 13.7 points per game in Turkey’s BSL before action was stopped.
