Panathinaikos GM and former great Fragiskos Alvertis is on the exit door as reported by Spor FM, as the decision to part ways with the team is already taken.
There is no confirmation yet by Panathinaikos‘ side, though all signs point at his departure from the team. Alvertis served as the team’s GM since 2016, while he spent a short stint as a head coach in 2014, following his long career with the Greens as a player (1990-2009).
Moreover, the same report mentions that team President Manos Papadopoulos has received an offer by a EuroLeague team which he turned down, sticking to his duties with Panathinaikos.
