Euroleague announced that the finalists for the Devotion Marketing Awards are Alba Berlin, Olympiacos and Valencia, as soon as Crvena Zvezda, Panathinaikos and Zalgiris were also nominees.

Here is the press release about the marketing awards:
“ALBA Berlin, Olympiacos Piraeus and Valencia Basket are the finalists for the 2015 Devotion Marketing Awards, which recognize excellence on the part of Euroleague Basketball clubs at achieving visibility and impact in the entertainment market. The three clubs received the most votes from a pool of six teams that were nominated for this season’s awards.

The Devotion Marketing Awards have been recognizing the best efforts made by Turkish Airlines Euroleague and Eurocup clubs in their various marketing and ticketing campaigns since 2007. All clubs that presented their best marketing strategy of the season to compete for the gold, silver and bronze Devotion Marketing Awards were eligible to vote for any of the six nominees except their own. Joining ALBA, Olympiacos and Valencia among the nominees were Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade, Panathinaikos Athens and Zalgiris Kaunas.

ALBA Berlin was nominated on the strength of its 25th anniversary campaign, which was based in branding, marketing and communications. ALBA won the 2014 Gold Devotion Marketing Award as well as the Silver Devotion Marketing Award the year before that.

Olympiacos Piraeus was selected for its digital and audio-visual strategy and the Olympiacos TV project, their official TV channel developed after becoming an official YouTube partner. Olympiacos is also a finalist for the third straight season; it won the Silver Devotion Marketing Award in 2014 and the Bronze Devotion Marketing Award in 2013.

Valencia Basket’s nomination is a product of its “Culture of Endeavour” global campaign, which aims to strengthen their links with the local community through a wide number of initiatives, among them a campaign to reward local students for scholastic excellence.

The Gold Devotion Marketing Award for the best campaign of the season will be announced and the recipient honored at the 2014-15 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Regular Season Draw on Thursday, July 9.
