Panathinaikos is going into the next season with new management and the team has started working on the roster for the upcoming season.

One of their plans is to fill the void left by the departure of Deshaun Thomas and, after not finding success in the acquiring of Greg Whittington, Panathinaikos turned its attention to Sam Dekker is one of the targets.

The 26-year-old American forward wore the jersey of Lokomotiv Kuban this past season, averaging 13.1 points and 5.3 rebounds in 7DAYS EuroCup while in VTB League, he logged 11.4 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.

It was his first season outside the US as he spent the first four years playing with various NBA clubs – Rockets, Clippers, Cavaliers, Wizards – as well as in the G League for the Vipers.
