Alba Berlin announced that the club has signed the 22-year-old German prospect in Louis Olinde to a three-year deal.
Olinde has been with Brose Bamberg for the past four years and this past season averaged six points, 4.9 assists, and 3.6 rebounds. He played 38 games split between the Basketball Champions League, German League and the German Cup.
“How young players have been successfully integrated at ALBA in recent years and how easily, quickly and passionately basketball was played made a big impression on me. ALBA is also an association with a huge tradition and many successes and I am very happy to be part of this program now. The long-term contract and the high level of competition in the EuroLeague are ideal conditions for me to take the next steps in my development. As a big city guy who grew up in Hamburg, I’m also really looking forward to living in a metropolis like Berlin again in the coming years,” Olinde said.
