Alba Berlin signed forward Tim Schneider to a two-year extension, the reigning German League champions announced. The 22-year-old Schneider has been playing with the team since he was 19.

“I wanted to stay with ALBA and the club wanted to keep me, so the extension was a logical decision,” Schneider said for Alba’s website. “I feel very comfortable in the ALBA program, I like the team very much and I am happy to be with family and friends in my homeland Berlin. I have the opportunity to develop in the best competition in Europe and learn from players like Luke Sikma. I work on my physique every day so that I will never be thrown back by long-term injuries.”

Schnider averaged 3.8 points and 1.3 rebounds in 11:50 minutes over 16 games in 2019-2020 EuroLeague. He had 5.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in 12:59 minutes over 10 BBL matches.
