Nikola Kalinic is expected to join Valencia after his five-year run with Fenerbahce Beko, according to Eurohoops sources.

Kalinic, 28, is up for the next challenge following his solid stint with Fener highlighted by the 2017 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague championship.

The Serbian national team regular moved from Crvena Zvezda to Fenerbahce back in 2015. He debuted in EuroLeague with the Serbian powerhouse and went on for an overall tally of 166 games in Europe’s premier club competition up to the early ending of the 2019-20 season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The experienced forward played in 28 EuroLeague games last season putting up 6.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per contest. In addition, he averaged 9.2 points per BSL match.

Already building on their 2020-21 EuroLeague squad, the Oranges re-signed Fernando San Emeterio, Mike Tobey, Sam Van Rossom, and Louis Labeyrie, and added Martin Hermannsson, Derrick Williams, and Klemen Prepelic.
