Baskonia extended its sponsorship contract with betting company Kirolbet until 2024, per Spanish news agency EFE. While Kirolbet will continue to be featured on the club’s jersey it won’t longer be the naming sponsor of the team, after two and a half seasons.
Kirolbet will have a presence on the back of the new season’s jerseys. The company has been the main sponsor of Baskonia since 2015. During that period, the Basque side organized the 2019 EuroLeague Final Four and won the 2020 Spanish ACB League title. The team also made the championship series in 2018.
