Khimki Moscow won’t continue with forward Anthony Gill, the Russian club announced. Gill becomes a free agent upon the expiration of his contract.
Gill, 27, spent the last three seasons with Khimki. In 2019-2020, he averaged 8.3 points, 4.5 rebounds plus 1.2 assists in 18:55 minutes over 25 EuroLeague games and 11.2 points plus 4.5 rebounds in 21:51 minutes over 15 matches in VTB League before the two competitions were canceled.
Khimki also parted ways with forward Jeremy Evans in the 2020 offseason. After extending the contract of team star Alexey Shved, the Russian powerhouse signed guard Evgeny Voronov and center Greg Monroe while bringing back forward/center Jordan Mickey.
