Nick Calathes scored 11 out of the 15 points of his debut with Barcelona in the fourth quarter, as the team beat Andorra 90 – 82 to begin the preseason games with a win.
Nikola Mirotic and Brandon Davies had 11 points apiece for Barca that had a 32 – 15 run down the stretch to get the victory.
Haukur Palsson paced Andorra with 19 points. Clevin Hannah and Eric Perez scored 11 points each.
In other preseason matches of Spanish teams, Burgos downed Bilbao 89 – 82, Tenerife defeated Gran Canaria 86 – 84 and Unicaja Malaga beat REAL Betis 90 – 74.
