San Pablo Burgos is preparing for the upcoming Basketball Champions League Final Eight, while Liga Endesa champions TD Systems Baskonia have changed their name sponsor and they have a new look without longtime captain Toko Shengelia.
The end result of their matchup was an 82-71 home win for Burgos behind 14 points by Jasiel Rivero and 12 by Vitor Benite. The hosts shot 50% in threes (11/22) and that made things simple.
It was a team effort against Baskonia which got 20 points by newcomers Rokas Giedraitis who stayed on the court for 35 minutes. 14 points by Alec Peters and 10 by Tonye Jekiri.
