Allerik Freeman led the way as ASVEL continued with the perfect preseason run so far

ASVEL has been having a strong run in the preseason preparations so far and they’ve added one more win to in their tour with 90-60 against Elan Chalon.

Allerik Freeman led the effort with 16 points while Matthew Strazel added 13 and Rihards Lomazs 11 points. Antoine Diot was in charge of finding the open man, logging seven assists in addition to his five points.

For Chalon, Garrett Sim banked game-high 17 points while Rafi Menco helped with 11. Teyvon Myers and Eric Buckner scored eight points each.

ASVEL was up 25-17 after the first ten minutes and 46-37 at halftime but it was the furious third quarter (29-7) that decided the victor of this matchup.

The winning squad was quite ‘locked in’ from deep with 12 made out of 24 which was a result of good ball movement with 26 assists while keeping the turnovers in check at 12 compared to Chalon’s 16 and 20 respectively.
