Barcelona’s sharpshooter in Kyle Kuric will undergo surgery on Monday (September 7) in order to replace the broken cranial (skull) implant, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The plate, which got broken on August 22 after a nasty fall during practice, has been put in place in November 2015 after Kuric underwent brain surgery to remove tumors diagnosed beforehand.

Despite how it may sound, the operation isn’t excessively complicated in general and it won’t force Kuric to a long recovery period.

If everything goes as planned, the guard will be back in practice with the squad in around two weeks. Kuric signed an extension with Barca this summer for the next three seasons.
