A back-and-forth game spilling into overtime had a clear star player, Marcus Foster.

Panathinaikos OPAP clinched third place in Kaunas’ WE’RE BACK PRESEASON TOUR thanks to an overtime win, 110-102, over ALBA Berlin. The team coached by Aito Garcia Reneses settled in fourth place.

Marcus Foster banked 7/9 threes including a couple of daggers towards the bottom end of the five extra minutes. His game-high 29 points was a difference-maker for the Greens on Sunday at Kaunas, Lithuania.

Ioannis Papapetrou and Nemanja Nedovic added 19 points apiece. The fourth double-digit scorer, Zach Auguste, ended up with 12 points coupled with a team-high 7 rebounds.

Johannes Thiemann went for 21 points and 8 rebounds before fouling out for the German outlet. His solid effort produced five earned fouls. Maodo Lo followed with 17 points.

Host Zalgiris Kaunas and AX Armani Exchange Milan will battle for first place later Sunday after beating the above teams in the semifinals.
