Jordan Loyd was on fire as Crvena Zvezda came out on top against Mornar Bar in a preseason clash

Crvena Zvezda recorded another preseason win, this time around against Mornar Bar with 89-79 on the scoreboard.

Jordan Loyd stepped up big time with game-high 29 points while Dejan Davidovac followed with 18 in addition to Duope Reath’s 12 and Ognjen Kuzmic’s ten points. Kuzmic and Reath also grabbed six rebounds each.

For Mornar, Derek Needham scored 15 while Jacob Pullen added 13 points. Isaiah Whitehead and Aleksandar Lazic logged 12 points each.

Zvezda was ahead 28-23 after ten minutes but Mornar didn’t let up and stayed close by halftime (49-45). Loyd was the main force pushing his squad which increased the gap to 75-66 in front of the final period and managed to keep the distance.

The match was played without an audience with respect of health and safety protocols while both coaches gave playing time to all players available to them.

In German,y FC Bayern Munich beat ratiopharm Ulm 78-94 on the latter’s home court on Saturday. Paul Zipser led the winners with 16 points, while JaJuan Johnson added 14 and Nihad Dedovic 10. For Ulm, Andreas Obst knocked down 16 points while Dylan Ostekowski added 11 and John Petrucelli 10.
