Maccabi reportedly agreed with Max Heidegger, Amar’e Stoudemire close to re-signing

Amar’e Stoudemire is close to returning to Maccabi while the team has also brought in some young blood in Max Heidegger

With ten days left until the official tip-off of the 2020-21 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season, Maccabi Tel Aviv is still working on completing the roster.

According to Moshe Barda, Maccabi has agreed to a multi-year deal with guard Max Heidegger who’s expected to arrive in the coming days to Israel. The UC Santa Barbara graduate averaged 16 points on 46% from the field, 3.2 assists, and 2.4 rebounds.

Additionally, according to Sports Walla, the team has been closing in on a new deal with Amar’e Stoudemire

The 38-year-old center returned to the US last month. Despite the hesitations and difficulties in contacts, the sides maintained communication throughout the period, and in recent days there was positive progress.
