With the times of uncertainty due to the coronavirus pandemic, many players are easier on their decisions to go back home and continue their careers there. The whole situation also creates many rumors and that also goes for NBA veterans such as Pau and Marc Gasol.
Both brothers have been linked to Barcelona, however, the club has been denying it. Coach Sarunas Jasikevicius would without a doubt want to bolster his frontcourt with players of such caliber but he as well noted that there hasn’t been any contact with Marc.
“No, we haven’t talked so far. It is important not to be in a great hurry, in preseason we missed Higgins and Kuric, now Claver, Smitsy Pustovyi did not play the last two years and we must now give them a chance…. If there is a very clear piece on the market, we will go for it. But there isn’t.
