Panathinaikos OPAP announced that the club has penned a short-term deal with Keifer Sykes.

Sykes traveled to Athens for the Basketball Champions League Final Eight with Turk Telekom but after getting eliminated in the quarterfinals, he found a spot with PAO which has been looking to strengthen its backcourt due to Pierre Jackson and Howard Sant-Roos having injury problems.

The 26-year-old American guard started his career with the Austin Spurs before moving to Korea and Turkey on one-year stints. He put on a high-level season in 2018-19 with Sigidas Avellino, in both Italy and Basketball Champions League, before moving to Milano for his EuroLeague debut.
