Our Fantasy tips amid Turkish Airlines EuroLeague players abruptly sidelined

By Dimitris Minaretzis/ info@eurohoops.net

Similar to the 2020-21 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season, the Fantasy part is packed with difficult decisions. Through an increasingly demanding environment supported by players out due to the coronavirus, we present our Fantasy tips in an effort to help you form a squad as strong as possible. Certainly, a unique situation that can lift rotation players into prominent roles.

Money in the bank

Our solid options include players that are off to a hot start. They have evolved into safe additions to your Fantasy roster. Meantime, safe but expensive options like Mike James and Nikola Mirotic are there, but you may wish to accompany them with players available at a lower price.

Our answer is Wade Baldwin. The ex-Olympiacos player looks elevated at FC Bayern Munich. His initial price tag was extremely low, mainly due to him coming off a struggling season with the Greek powerhouse. We spotted him for our readers prior to Round 1. His value was since upped to 1.07 and is surely tempting given his 20.6 Fantasy points per appearance so far.

Baldwin is a key member of Andrea Trinchieri’s rotation and remains on the court for almost 30 minutes. He has put up 16 points and 4 assists per game over the first two matches. We picked him up expecting another solid outing, even though he is up against the tough Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv defense Wednesday.

The last remaining Khimki leader

Khimki Moscow Region is severely affected by positive COVID-19 tests. Most star players are out with the Russian club planning to go into the double-game week with an eight-man roster. Jonas Jerebko is likely to lead the shorthanded pack.

The Swedish player lasted almost 38 minutes last week producing 30 PIR and is billed for many more minutes this week. Unquestionably, he is our guy, despite the tough evening expected on the road versus Real Madrid Wednesday.
