Barcelona swingman Alex Abrines suffered a slight sprain on his right ankle, the club announced. Abrines was injured in the first quarter of Thursday’s EuroLeague game vs. Panathinaikos.
Abrines’ return to action will be determined by the evolution of his recovery. Barcelona is also missing Nikola Mirotic (coronavirus) and Victor Claver (leg).
Before the match against Panathinaikos, Abrines was averaging 11.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in EuroLeague.
