The home crowd effect on Zalgiris Kaunas will be limited, according to the latest guidelines officially implemented by the Lithuanian government in an effort to prevent the coronavirus spread, per Donatas Urbonas of 15min.

Boosted by around 5,000 fans at the Zalgirio Arena so far in the young Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season, the Lithuanian powerhouse will move forward with a maximum of 300 fans allowed between October 30 and November 13. Spectators wearing masks must keep a distance of two meters.

Up to November 13, Zalgiris is scheduled to host Real Madrid on November 6.

The same restrictions will apply for the remaining Lithuanian sides through all European club competitions.

Reports initially surfacing indicated the next games being played behind closed doors.
