Real Madrid bounced back from a two-game losing streak and prevailed over visiting FC Bayern Munich with a 100-82 victory in Round 6 of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. The Spanish side put an end to Bayern’s dream run with four victories in a row, as Bayern suffered its second defeat of the season.

Jaycee Carroll stepped up for Pablo Laso’s squad and led his team to this much-needed victory with 19 points. Trey Thompkins had 16 points and six boards, while Anthony Randolph also exited the court in double digits with 13 points and three boards. Alberto Abalde completed the list of scorers in double figures with 10 points.

Things got heated early on in the game, as Bayern head coach Andrea Trinchieri was ejected after just three minutes of action after being called out with his second technical foul.

Despite the German side’s comeback from a 27-17 deficit in the first period, after which they managed to tie the game multiple times, Carroll and Thompkins were there to seal the final victory for Real early in the fourth quarter.

Wade Baldwin led all Bayern scorers with 18 points, four assists, as Jalen Reynolds followed with 15 points and six rebounds.
