Major coronavirus hit on AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan

Olimpia Milano announced Monday that the latest tests for players and other team members produced numerous coronavirus cases.

Per the press release: “Following the tests performed on Sunday evening in compliance with the health protocols, several cases of Covid-19 positivity came out within the Olimpia Milano’s Team Group. Therefore, the team’s activity has been immediately suspended. The positive subjects, all totally asymptomatic, are following the health protocol procedures in isolation. The whole Team Group will go under a further verification test on Tuesday, 10 November. The club immediately informed the local health authority and awaits instructions on the matter.”

A Russia trip and two Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games are scheduled for the Italian outlet this week. The original plan for the team coached by Ettore Messina brings Zenit Saint-Petersburg Wednesday and Khimki Moscow Region Friday.
