New Oklahoma City Thunder forward Aleksej Pokusevski visited the practice of his now former team Olympiacos Piraeus to say his goodbyes to the players and staff, before leaving for the USA to join the NBA.

Pokusevski, the 17th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, thanked the players of Olympiacos, and specifically captain Vassilis Spanoulis, Giorgos Printezis and Kostas Papanikolaou, the coaches and the rest of the staff.

“We give you our positive thinking,” Olympiacos coach Giorgos Bartzokas told Pokusevski. “We are sure that you’re going to make great things.”

Pokusevski joined the Olympiacos youth teams in 2015 when he was a 13 year old, moving to Greece from his native Serbia. He grew up with the “Reds” and, since 2019, he also made appearances with the senior team.
