Olympiacos announced that the team will play a series of prep games every Monday, starting November 30 against Kolossus, and will call the project “Monday night against COVID-19”.

The games will be broadcasted by the Greek national television while being held behind closed doors with the use of all health and safety protocols.

While there will be no fans in general, a special section will be prepared for the guests of honor which will be doctors, nurses and other health professionals who fight against COVID and who will be rewarded by the club for their efforts.

“In these difficult times that we are going through due to a pandemic, Olympiacos feels it is its self-evident duty to assist with all its forces in the effort made by the State to strengthen the Health System, the practical support of those in need, as well as the promotion of those in need on the front line of battle. Our doctors, our nurses and all the staff of the hospitals of our country.”
