Real Madrid announced that Facu Campazzo is no longer a player of the club. Campazzo is NBA-bound and now officially cleared to sign with the Denver Nuggets.
Per Real Madrid:
Real Madrid C. F. and Facundo Campazzo have reached an agreement to bring the player’s time at our club to an end.
Real Madrid wishes to express its gratitude and affection towards the player for the exemplary conduct and commitment displayed throughout the time he defended our jersey.
Campazzo was part of one of the most significant periods in the history of our basketball team, during which time he lifted 11 trophies: two European Cups, three league titles, two Copas del Rey and four Spanish Super Cups.
He was named MVP of the 2018/19 Endesa League play-off final and was MVP of the Endesa Super Cup in both 2019 and 2020, whilst he was also crowned MVP of the 2020 Copa del Rey.
During his time as a madridista, he also claimed a silver medal at the Basketball World Cup in China.
Real Madrid wishes him and his family all the very best in this new chapter of his professional career.
