Real Madrid is finalizing a deal with center Alex Tyus that is expected to be announced in the coming hours, Eurohoops sources confirm Sunday. 32-year-old Tyus is expected to land in Madrid from Galatasaray where he spent the first half of the season in the Turkish League and Basketball Champions League.
The experienced center has posted an average of 8.3 points, 4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 3 BCL contests this season and will be making his EuroLeague return after last playing for Maccabi in the 2018-19 season.
A 2014 EuroLeague champion with Maccabi, Tyus will also make his debut in the Spanish Liga Endesa with Real.
