The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 17 affair with ALBA Berlin hosting Zalgiris Kaunas will take place Tuesday as originally scheduled, the German club announced Monday, a couple of days after Aito Garcia Reneses tested positive for coronavirus.
The 74-year-old head coach remains quarantined continuing his recovery. His players were also isolated as a precaution and all tested negative Sunday. They were subsequently cleared to resume preparations and compete in the upcoming EuroLeague fixture.
Associate coach Israel Gonzalez will take over the head coaching duties until Reneses returns.
