After Thomas Heurtel’s departure from Barcelona, there have been reports surfacing, connecting the French player to Real Madrid for a deal next season.
“He is a very good player”, said Real Madrid head coach Pablo Laso in a press conference Wednesday. “But I take with humor all the references that are made with Heurtel and Real Madrid, we have enough things to think about the team, to occupy time on such things.”
Undoubtedly, one of the things Real will occupy with this summer is Laso himself, as his current contract comes to an end when the 2020-21 season concludes. 53-year-old Laso is now on to his 10th year with the Spanish club, during which he had led it to two EuroLeague championships, 5 Liga Endesa titles and 6 Copa Del Rey trophies.
