Barcelona swingman Alex Abrines isn’t traveling to Greece for the EuroLeague game against Olympiacos Piraeus due to discomfort on his left hamstring. It will be the first EuroLeague game the Spanish player will miss this season.

In 2020-2021, Abrines has been posting 9.0 points (47-101 3-pointers) and 2.5 rebounds.

Olympiacos isn’t without problems as well since forward Sasha Vezenkov is considered highly doubtful to play due to hematoma on the MCL of his right knee. Forward Kostas Papanikolaou has also been sidelined for the Reds.

Vezenkov is averaging 9.1 points, 4.7 rebounds this season.

Barcelona is coming off five straight wins and is the current standings leader at 16 – 6. Olympiacos, that won the first-leg game at Barcelona, is 11-11 after losses to Zalgiris Kaunas and Olimpia Milano on the road.
