Jaycee Carroll got injured with a sprain when he landed on the foot of Panathinaikos’ guard Lefteris Bochoridis in Real Madrid‘s Wednesday clash against Panathinaikos as Pablo Laso confirmed Thursday in the press conference ahead of Round 23’s game against ALBA Berlin.

The guard did not travel with the rest of the Real Madrid squad to Berlin and will remain sidelined at least for Friday’s game, as Laso mentioned.

“Sergio Llull and Rudy Fernandez were able to play yesterday. They had been out for a while and it was important that they enter into the team’s dynamics. Laprovittola is out due to illness and also Carroll, who has suffered a sprain in yesterday’s game.”

Despite the bad omens from last night’s game, it looks like the worse is over for the Spanish team, even though Laso harshly criticized the incident last night.

“I am very confident that Carroll is always able to recover quickly and hopefully it is nothing serious. I don’t know if it was intentional or not and I should think it is unintentional. But it is an action that, willingly or not, is very dangerous and must be punished. The only thing that worries me is that I have nothing and it is just a simple sprain ”.
