Panathinaikos’ coronavirus cases climb to 11

The Panathinaikos team is still “frozen” due to coronavirus.

Panathinaikos Athens announced that an eighth player of the team tested positive for coronavirus, rising the total COVID-19 cases on the team to eleven (eight players, three staff members).

All Panathinaikos‘ team activities have been suspended since last Saturday (6/2) when multiple coronavirus tests came back positive. The Greens’ upcoming EuroLeague games against Zenit St. Petersburg (17/2) and CSKA Moscow (19/2) have been suspended.

Panathinaikos’ squad will undergo new tests this Monday (15/2).
