In the latest episode of The Players’ Podcast, Kyle Hines talked with the guest star Josh Childress as the two discussed his experiences from the playing career in the NBA as well as at Olympiacos.
They touched on European basketball in general and his adjustment to it, the Greek rivalry and the passion it brings, the Australian league as well as – perhaps most importantly – the life after basketball with Childress handing out some advice how to deal with it once you retire.
“As a businessman, you need to figure out what you want from a deal and how to best approach it. It is fundamental to find the people you can trust and who can help you on the way to becoming successful. Athletes need to be careful not to be taken advantage of,” Childress said.
