Zalgiris Kaunas forward Nigel Hayes has tested positive for COVID-19, the club announced Tuesday, and is set to miss his team’s final game of the EuroLeague regular season against Panathinaikos on Thursday.
Hayes felt symptoms and tested positive on Monday and Tuesday’s test turned in positive as well. The rest of the team, including Augustine Rubit, who was recently sick, received negative test answers, Zalgiris informs.
The player hasn’t been in contact with the rest of the team since Friday when the squad returned from their game in Munich.
