Iffe Lundberg scored 11 out of his EuroLeague career-high 23 points in the last six minutes as CSKA Moscow beat ASVEL Villeurbanne 88 – 70 to  improve to a 23 – 10 record.

Lundberg went off with both points and assists after ASVEL took a 62 – 66 lead with seven minutes and following a comeback from down 13 overall. The Danish guard scored nine points and sent dimes to his teammates as CSKA made a 14 –  run to turn the tide of the game for good.

Micheal Eric had his best game with the CSKA jersey, finishing with 21 points plus nine rebounds and Johannes Voigtmann had 13 points for CSKA that was missing Tornike Shengelia.

Guerschon Yabusele (23 points) and Norris Cole (15 points) were ASVEL’s top contributors in the game. After falling behind in the first half, TJ Parker’s team flipped the switch and was highly competitive in the second half of the game, trying to pull of a major upset.
