Real Madrid blew out Fenerbahce Beko 97 – 63 on the road and secured a spot in the 2021 EuroLeague playoffs while setting a 3-point record in the competition with 19. The Spanish side led from start to finish and was particularly superior in the very beginning and the fourth quarter.

The trio of Fabien Causeur (20 points), Gabriel Deck (19 points) and Nicolas Laprovittola (18 points, 10 assists) led the charge for Real Madrid that had an increased sense of urgency right from the start. Pablo Laso’s players finished the first half (36 – 49) with zero turnovers and seven offensive rebounds, getting 19 off their opponents’ mistakes and second-chance buckets.

Nando De Colo had 23 points and Lorenzo Brown finished with 16 points for Fenerbahce that lacked big man Jan Vesely. After trailing by 20 points early in the second period, the hosts made a comeback attempt that cut their deficit to single digits, 50 – 58 in the third quarter. Real reacted to once again establish a lead of double figures and dominated the last part of the match to easily get to its needed result.
