It’s not unlikely that the next season will find guard/wing Leandro Bolmaro still wearing the Barcelona jersey and not heading to the NBA and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

“Until the end of the season, I’m not going to rule out anything. There are still three-four months here, the most important and final part. Then, I’ll see with my agent and my family what is best for me: If the best thing for me is to leave or continue growing with Barcelona,” Bolmaro said in an interview for EFE, per Marca.

Bolmaro, 20, said he’s having conversations with Timberwolves assistant coach and fellow Argentinian Pablo Prigioni. “Sometimes I talk to Pablo about how they are and how the franchise is going, but there’s nothing concrete about when I will able to go,” he mentioned.

In the 2020-21 EuroLeague so far, Bolmaro has got serious minutes in a few games, averaging 7:10 overall with the first-placed team in the regular season. He had his most notable performance in win over Zalgiris Kaunas, with eight points, six assists and five rebounds in 20:08 and he’s so far posting 2.0 points and 1.1 assists in 7:28 minutes.

Things are quite naturally much different in the Spanish ACB League where Bolmaro is receiving substantially more playing time and duties, averaging 5.2 points, 1.7 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 14:28 minutes.
