ASVEL is seriously pursuing adding star prospect Victor Wembanyama for the next season and the two sides are in deep talks, according to Artem Komarov.
The 2004-born NBA prospect has been with the French team Nanterre for the past couple of years. He logged eight games in the French League this season as well as four games in 7DAYS EuroCup.
He’s been averaging 15 minutes on the floor in the domestic competition, contributing with 6.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, and one assist.
The 17-year-old is not eligible yet for the NBA Draft but is considered one of the biggest European talents with 218cm of height and great agility,a s well as skillset, for the size. He is expected to make a big impact in one of the upcoming NBA Drafts when he decides to enter.
