After getting near a deal with Real Madrid and then having CSKA Moscow knocking on his door, Pierria Henry and Fenerbahce are in advanced talks, according to Eurohoops sources.

The US point guard, who is now officially also a Senegalese citizen and has received his passport, has not signed yet anything. However, this is expected to happen when the Olympic Qualifiers wrap up in early July.

Henry averaged 10.5 points, 7.3 assists, and 1.3 steals in 34 games of the EuroLeague regular season, emerging as one of the most coveted free agents of the summer.

The 28-years old guard had a break-out season in Europe back in 2018-19 season with Unics Kazan, after turning heads in the NBA Summer League with the Boston Celtics.

Since then, he is considered among the top EuroLeague point guards and while there might be NBA interest for him on the horizon, it seems that his next destination will be Istanbul.
