Milano got its first new acquisition ahead of the new season.

Olimpia Milano signed forward Davide Alviti to a three-year contract, the Italian club announced. It’s the first addition of Milano in the 2021 offseason so far.

Per Milano:

Olimpia Milano has signed Davide Alviti for the next three years. Alviti was born in Alatri, on November 5, 1996, he is 2.00 mt., a small forward coming from Trieste basketball team. “We have been following Davide Alviti for quite some time – says Olimpia’s general manager, Christos Stavropoulos – and we think he comes to Milan at the right moment in his career. He is an up-and-coming player, who has size, shooting skills and the right spirit to be part of our group.” “I’m enthusiastic and excited about embracing this new challenge. Milan represents the top, so I couldn’t be happier and more motivated to open this chapter of my life. I want to help Olimpia and Can’t wait to start,” Davide Alviti said.

HIS CAREER – Davide Alviti began playing the game in Alatri, in the province of Frosinone, then he was acquired in 2011 by Eurobasket Roma, which he remained tied to until 2015. In the meantime, he also made his Serie A debut with Virtus Roma during the 2013/14 season. In 2015 he moved to Mantova and for four years he played at the A2 level: after Mantova, he moved to Tortona, Imola and Treviso with which he won the championship and the Italian Cup for the category at the end of the 2018/19 season. In 2019/20, he returned to Serie A in Treviso and in 2020 the move to Trieste. This past season, he averaged 10.5 points per game, while shooting 44.2 percent from three, and 4.6 rebounds per game.

NOTES – Alviti made his National Team debut in the national team on November 30, 2020, in Tallinn, in an Italy win over Russia.
