Fenerbahce is signing Turkish forward Metecan Birsen to a deal, as first reported by Çağlar Torun and confirmed by Eurohoops sources. 26-year-old Birsen is signing a 1+1 year contract with the club, per sources.
Birsen spent the last two seasons with Pınar Karsıyaka, with which he averaged 6.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists in the Basketball Champions League, as the Turkish side reached the final of the 2020-21 season.
Birsen is no stranger to Fenerbahce, as he started his career there at 16, during the 2011-12 season, before joining Eskisehir on loan in 2014-15, after winning the domestic league title with Fener.
