Maccabi Tel Aviv has signed big man Jalen Reynolds to a two-year deal, the team announced Thursday. Reynolds, 28, returns to Israel after spending the previous season with Bayern.
Reynolds first joined Maccabi in the 2019-20 season, when he was brought in as a backup to the injured Tarik Black and continued at the club until the Euroleague season stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Last season he took part in all 39 of Bayern’s Euroleague games and averaged 13.6 points and 5.8 rebounds across 21 minutes on the floor.
“I am very happy and thankful for the opportunity to come back to Maccabi”, said Jalen Reynolds upon signing his new contract. “My first experience showed me Maccabi is a great club and made my decision easy this time. I can’t wait to see the arena full of amazing fans. I will bring all of my energy and focus to help the team win everything. Yalla Maccabi!”.
