Real Madrid is remodeling its football stadium Santiago Bernabeu and the works are expected to be completed by the summer of 2022. The new version of Bernabeu upon its completion will be a venue capable of hosting even basketball games, something that the club may be taking advantage of.
According to RAC 1, Real Madrid has been considering the possibility of holding its basketball games in Bernabeu when the works are completed since the stadium will have a retractable roof and there will be a capability to place hardwood floor on the lawn.
If the move takes place, Real Madrid will leave WiZink Center for the first time since 2011.
