Maccabi Tel Aviv announced that forward Angelo Caloiaro will stay with the team for the 2021-22 season. Caloiaro had re-signed with the Israeli powerhouse last summer.
This will be Caloiaro’s fourth year with Maccabi. Last season, the 32-year-old player averaged 5.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 25:35 minutes in EuroLeague plus 8.4 points and 4.1 rebounds in 22.5 minutes of the Israeli Winner League regular season. He had 8.9 points and 2.9 rebounds in the playoffs as Maccabi won the championship for the fourth straight season.
