Baskonia announced that EuroLeague veteran guard Jayson Granger signed a contract to return to the team after his 2017-2020 stint.
Granger, 31, spent the previous season with Alba Berlin. The Uruguayan veteran averaged 8.1 points, 4.9 assists and 2.7 rebounds in the 2020-21 EuroLeague, along with 8.6 points, 5.2 assists and 2.6 rebounds in the German League to help Alba win the back-to-back championship.
He’s the second Alba player to move to Baskonia this offseason after forward Simone Fontecchio.
Apart from Granger, Baskonia has also added Wade Baldwin and Vanja Marinkovic for its backcourt lineup for the new season.
