UNICS Kazan announced the signing of power forward Evgeny Valiev for the next campaign.
31-year-old Valiev arrives to the club from Khimki Moscow Region, with which he averaged 3.7 points and 3.2 rebounds in 15 minutes over 11 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games in the 2020-21 season.
Valiev participated in 15 VTB League games and averaged 5.5 points and 4.1 rebounds for Khimki. Prior to moving to Moscow, he played for Triumph Lyubertsy / Zenit St Petersburg between 2008 and 2019.
