Crvena Zvezda is very strongly considering the case of NBA shooting guard Jerome Robinson, sources have told Eurohoops.
Robinson, the 13th overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft, has been a free agent after being waived by the Washington Wizards in April. The 24-year-old former Boston College standout averaged 4.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in 17.9 minutes over 17 games with Washington last season.
Since he became a pro in 2018, Robinson participated in 101 games in the NBA with the Los Angeles Clippers and the Wizards. If Crvena Zvezda‘s interest evolves into a deal, then he will play in Europe and EuroLeague for the first time in his career.
Red Star has a history (Quincy Miller, Lorenzo Brown) of successfully assimilating former NBA players who’ve made their first steps in European basketball with productive numbers and results.
