Bayern Munich signed guard Corey Walden to a two-year deal, the German club announced. Walden will be reunited with coach Andrea Trinchieri for whom he played at Partizan Belgrade in 2019-2020.

“I know coach Trinchieri from Belgrade, we had a brilliant season and we were at the top in every league until their cancellation due to the coronavirus,” Walden said per Bayern. “My personal goal is just to try and be better than last year and help the team how I can and really just try to win some trophies.”

Walden spent the last season with Crvena Zvezda, averaging 10.5 points and 2.3 assists in EuroLeague. The 29-year-old player also had 10.0 points, 3.5 assists and 2.2 rebounds in ABA League to help Red Star win the championship.
