Yonatan Atias will spend the upcoming season on loan from Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv to Ironi Nahariya, the teams announced Monday. The deal includes an option to extend the loan for one more season.
Atias, 20, has been part of the senior squad of Maccabi in the last couple of seasons. He logged five minutes in his first two Turkish Airlines EuroLeague appearances and also made his way to 22 matches of Israel’s Winner League. The young center averaged 1.4 points per 2020-21 contest.
He has been loaned out to further develop and gain additional experience powered by the projected major boost in playing time.
